![]() New research shows that stress does indeed cause gray hair, but it is stress at a cellular level that causes hair to loose its color. "Genotoxic" stress - stress from mutagens, such as ultraviolet light - can damage the DNA which dimishes the stem cells that are responsible for producing color. Read more at {LiveScience}.
