Bt-toxin
from genetically modified (GM) crops has, for the first time, been detected in human and fetal blood samples. It is a gene that is added to most corn, soy and potato crops to produce an insecticide so that when a bug makes the unfortunate snack choice, it is killed right away. The great minds behind this gene claimed that the Bt-toxin was quickly destroyed in human stomachs but evidently that is not the case. The only way to avoid GMO ingredients is to buy certified organic products. Read more at {Mercola}. For a non-GMO shopping guide {NonGMOShoppingGuide}.
