This past week there have been five food alerts. Not necessarily new info, but disturbing evidence seems to be mounting.
  1. GM foods have been linked to tumor growth and premature death
  2. Arsenic has been been un US rice crops
  3. Popcorn can cause "popcorn lung", a condition caused by inhaling diacetyl - an artificial butter flavoring
  4. Atlantic ocean fish are disappearing due to environmental pollution
  5. Mercury poisoning in tuna found in school lunches

Not good news...oh and add to the list Trader Joes peanut butter recall.

Right to Front Yard Garden Fought Against City PDF Print E-mail

Karl Tricamo has won his battle against the City of Ferguson, Missouri for the right to have a garden for a front lawn rather than City enforced grass. He documented his experience on his blog Vegetable Yarden.
